Editor's Letter

As this year ends, I enjoy taking the time to reflect on the past year. This year, I took a closer look at the impact we’ve made, and I am thrilled to share that we covered over 240 events across our community. WOW! One question I’m often asked is, “What sets VIP Magazine apart?” My answer is simple: we are locals, just like you, committed to celebrating and supporting the great work happening in our community. Whether it’s highlighting important events or sharing inspiring  stories, our goal is always to shine a light on what makes Bowling Green extraordinary. Thank you to our loyal readers, advertisers and supporters for making it possible to continue this mission.

This month’s issue reflects that spirit. In our Non-Profit Spotlight, we feature some of the incredible organizations making a difference in our community. This section holds a special place in my heart—it’s a reminder of the impact we can make when we come together. I encourage you to take a moment to learn more about their work and consider how you might get involved. To help you prepare for the year ahead, we’ve included our New Year, New You section, filled with inspiration to kickstart your 2025 goals. Be sure to check out the promotions and specials from our advertisers—there’s something for everyone as you set your sights on the new year.

Our VIP at Home feature showcases the Cozy Christmas home of Mary and Kirk Pierce, who have transformed their space into a holiday haven perfect for hosting family and friends. We’re also thrilled to introduce this month’s VIP profile, Jolly Santa Jason, the first Black Santa in the Bowling Green area, who has brought both representation and Christmas magic to our community. December is packed with events, from the Med Center Charity Ball to WKU Homecoming and countless holiday-themed celebrations. If you’d like to ensure your event is included in VIP Magazine, please request coverage through our website at www.vipbowlinggreen.com or email [email protected].

Thank you for being part of the VIP Magazine family. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

See you all next year,
Allison
