Brandon Neal

Story by Kayla Fugate

When he was thirteen years old, Brandon Neal decided he wanted to be a Financial Advisor. In 1999, his friend and mentor, Steve Rogers, gave him that opportunity at J.C. Bradford. He’s now Vice President-Wealth Management Advisor for WealthSouth Concierge Financial Services. “I am forever grateful for my clients’ trust and to Steve for always being there for me personally and professionally.”

Brandon says that his profession is about relationships and trust. “The city of Bowling Green is growing and changing rapidly, but we are still small enough to cherish having those close longtime relationships.”

He says his firm is the same way. WealthSouth has a great story. Founded in 1909, their team strives to deliver financial services at its essence: having strong relationships and understanding their clients, being accessible and responsive, and utilizing their experience and knowledge to deliver effective solutions. Brandon says that although WealthSouth is a wealth management firm that provides financial management, retirement, and trust services, he thinks people would be interested to know that WealthSouth also offers commercial banking services. “WealthSouth has full service capabilities in this area, including real estate lending, construction lending, and equipment financing. We also offer depository accounts and cash management toolsremote deposit capture, business credit cards, and card processing.”

Born in Bowling Green in the “Hospital Hill” hospital, Brandon is a 1989 graduate of Bowling Green High. “I have lived here 37 of my 47 years,” he says. “Bowling Green is a unique place and everyone who lives here knows we are fortunate for what we have.” Brandon is the President of the Goat Gary Junior Golf Foundation and is involved with the Mason Goodnight Foundation. He and his wife, Penny, have a daughter and a son.

“The city will continue to grow, and it will continue to change. But what will not change is the great people in this community. We will strive to make Bowling Green a better place for our families to live and our businesses to prosper,” he says.
