Since the opening of the Reindeer Farm, the owners have invited Food Network star Danny
Kissel to join in on the festivities by creating unique ice sculptures throughout the day. If his name sounds familiar, it’s because he most recently won Season 5 of Food Network’s “Outrageous Pumpkins” - the show that tasks various artists to create masterpieces out of the seasonal gourds. After Halloween, Kissel forgoes that medium of art and turns to ice sculpting to bring life-sized figures and creations to life. This year Kissel created sculptures based around the Rankin/Bass classic film “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”

Families can be on the lookout for the announcement next year when the farm brings Kissel back for this chippy tradition. Purchasing a general admission ticket will grant visitors access to viewing his art in action.
