Hancock Bank and Trust Company, a 131 year old community bank with offices in seven locations, announced the promotion of Claude R. Badgett to Chief Executive Officer effective at their annual shareholders meeting in January.
Badgett, a native of Madisonville, KY, has been employed at the bank since 2011 in various duties focusing on technology and financial management. Claude is married to Ashley Smith Badgett and they reside in Bowling Green, KY.
Badgett is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in accounting. He is a graduate of the first class of Leadership Kentucky’s ELEVATE Kentucky, a program for millennium leaders in the Commonwealth.
