The Bowling Green-Warren County NAACP was started in 1919, and champions justice and equality in the community by granting scholarships, awards to local leaders and hosting political forums to foster voter participation. They held their annual Freedom Fund Gala at the Knicely Conference Center, where they celebrated local educators, humanitarians and exceptional youth and community leaders.
