Cheetah Clean Auto Wash Helps Promote Child Abuse Prevention Month With Annual Giveback to CASA Programs

Cheetah Clean Auto Wash, a leader in the car wash industry throughout the Commonwealth, is giving back to the community with their annual donation to CASA of South Central KY, in honor April’s Child Abuse Prevention Month. Cheetah Clean was able to hand over a check for $5,267.63 on Thursday at their 31W By-Pass location.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of South Central KY is an agency that provides trained citizen volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the family court systems throughout the region and currently boasts 84 active volunteers. These concerned citizen volunteers advocated for and served as a voice in court for 268 vulnerable children in the last year (2020-21), even with COVID-19 challenges. The funds donated by Cheetah Clean will assist the agency in reaching the 986 abused and neglected children in the South Central KY service area that went without a CASA in 2020.

This is not the first partnership for Cheetah Clean and CASA. This is the fifth Child Abuse Prevention month giveback that Cheetah Clean has done in honor of CASA. Since 2016, they have donated more than $12,000 to the organization. This year, they were fortunate to be able to add the Ohio Valley and Bullitt County CASA programs to the April giveback, donating $2,629.36 and $2,900.80, respectively. Cheetah Clean has also been the presenting sponsor for CASA of South Central KY’s Superhero 5K for the last four years (sans the 2020 event cancellation). Because of their community efforts and support to CASA over the last five years, Cheetah Clean was named CASA of South Central KY’s Community Partner of the Year in 2018.

“We have always enjoyed working with CASA on events and givebacks. They have a great reputation in the community for making a real impact on the children’s lives they work with. I can’t think of a more inspiring group of individuals to support,” states Jeff Fields, owner of Cheetah Clean Auto Wash.

“As Cheetah Clean continues to grow, we hope to include more CASA program around KY.”
“Cheetah Clean is a great community partner. Always wanting to give us, the organization, the spotlight to bring more awareness to our mission,” reports Jana Sublett, Executive Director of CASA of South Central KY. “They see our partnership as beneficial to everyone involved.”
