Seven attorneys at English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley, LLP (ELPO Law) have been named 2025 Super Lawyers, and one named as a Rising Star.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual list recognizes the top 5% of attorneys nationwide, across a variety of practice areas and firm sizes, who have distinguished themselves in their legal practice. Candidates are nominated and chosen based on an evaluation of twelve eligibility requirements which include verdicts and settlements, experience, certifications, and pro bono service. Sarah P. Jarboe (Environmental Law) was named to the Rising Stars list for the sixth time for 2025. The Rising Stars list is comprised of the top up-and-coming attorneys under the age of forty who have been in practice ten years or less. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in each state receive this honor.
