May Outdoor Concert featuring Marty Brown

Story and photography by Jimbob Baird

Featured at Richpond Market & Deli on May 18, were some great singing, storytelling and a meet and greet with well-known country music artist and one of the semi-finalists on the TV show “America’s Got Talent.” Marty Brown. His singing, telling stories, and much-appreciated sense of humor had the audience smiling and tapping their feet throughout the whole backyard party event. Along with Marty, the great cooks at Richpond served up some great food such as catfish, beef brisket, and the new Piggy Burger. “We are very excited about our first show of the season tonight, and we will be having one every month,” spoke Harold Huntsman of Richpond Market & Deli.

The Market is located at 8233 Nashville Road on the south side of Bowling Green.
