Service One Credit Union Announces New VP Strategic Finance/Controller



Service One is pleased to announce Valerie Wilcox as our new VP of Strategic Finance/Controller. As Service One’s VP of Strategic Finance/Controller, she will be responsible for key aspects of financial management and accounting including asset and liability management, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity, investments, and capital planning.

Valerie Wilcox brings over a decade of financial experience to Service One Credit Union. Her previous credit union experience includes Park Community Credit Union where she excelled at leading programs, earning distinctions, and overseeing various aspects of branch operations.
Valerie's expertise covers financial analysis, risk management, and whole business alignment. Her dedication to proactive financial strategies underscores her results-oriented approach. As a forward- thinking leader, Valerie maximizes value through financial analysis and strategic insight.

Originally from Chicago, she moved to Kentucky to earn her bachelor’s degree at Berea College, later settling in Lexington. She went on to obtain her MBA before relocating to Bowling Green in July. In her free time, you can find Valerie exploring outdoors with her dogs or planning a trip to somewhere she’s never been.
