St. Teresa Thrift Store New Location – NOW OPEN!

St. Teresa Thrift Store is pleased to announce their new location at 600 US 31W Bypass in Fairview Shopping Center is now open. After the December 2021 tornado substantially damaged their previous location, the search began for a new home for St. Teresa Thrift Store.

“After every storm, there is a rainbow,” explained Executive Director Kelly Wiseman. “Our rainbow led us to Fairview Shopping Center. Our new Store offers our customers the promise of a unique thrifting experience.”

St. Teresa Thrift Store is filled with beautiful merchandise – women’s, men’s and children's clothing and shoes; housewares; décor; athletic equipment; toys; furniture and mattresses. Gently used and new merchandise is updated daily, all priced for the value shopper.

“We have a newer, updated location with some great neighbors,” stated Wiseman. “Our look and location may have changed but our mission hasn’t changed. St. Theresa Thrift Store is the outreach program of St. Teresa Ministries. Funds generated from The Store, enables St. Teresa Ministries to give back to those in need throughout the local Bowling Green community.”

With those funds, St. Teresa Ministries have been able to financially support St. Joseph Food Pantry, Holy Spirit Food Pantry, Habitat for Humanity, Family Enrichment Center’s Wee Care Childcare Center, and the Housing Authority. All of this was made possible through generous donations of gently used clothing, housewares, and furniture, our loyal customers, volunteers, and staff.

“In 2022, we were able to give back over $200,000 throughout our community,” stated Board President Ken Herndon.

St. Teresa Thrift Store is open Monday – Saturday, 10:00a – 6:00p daily (closed on Sundays). Our Drive-Up Donation Center is located in the back of the Fairview Shopping Center during Store hours. For more information, or to schedule a pickup of your gently used or new clothing and home goods, please call 270.904.1832.
