In 2021, Sawyer Burch was diagnosed with Trifunctional Protein Deficiency (TFP), a very rare metabolic disorder that prevents his body from converting certain fats to energy. Because of this, Sawyer’s body breaks down his muscles for energy, leading to neuropathy, frequent hospitalizations and the possibility of sudden death. |

The Bowling Green/Warren County area experienced a 7.9% increase in tourism, surpassing the previous record-setting year Governor Andy Beshear announced the economic impact of Kentucky’s tourism industry – $13.8 billion spent in 2023 which is more than a 9% increase compared to 2022. |
